The Role:

The Installation Team Member is a vital part of the event-day experience. You will be one of the first people our clients see, as well as the final impression left behind at the end of the day. Weʻll be relying on you to represent our company with professionalism, efficiency, and care. This role is ideal for those who thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take direction from your Installation Lead to deliver, set up, and strike event furnishings safely and efficiently

  • Work side-by-side with your crew to complete installs on time and to specification. You communicate clearly, follow direction, and support your teammates every step of the way

  • Load, unload, and transport furniture and décor safely and efficiently

  • Handle all rental inventory with care to prevent damage

  • Inspect items upon pickup and report any stains, damage, breakage, or missing pieces

  • Support proper inventory handling and protection during transport

  • Assist with warehouse prep and post-event returns as needed

  • Follow all safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment

  • Adhere to venue rules and regulations

  • Maintain a clean driving record (if driving) and follow all company vehicle policies

  • Take required meal and rest breaks in compliance with Hawaii labor laws

  • Assist with warehouse duties and additional tasks as assigned

  • Support large installs and special events as needed

Qualifications:

  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks

  • Strong work ethic and dependable attendance

  • Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Calm, professional demeanor under pressure

  • Passion for safety, organization, and problem-solving

  • Sense of urgency and attention to detail

Job Structure & Compensation

  • Paid training

  • Part-Time on-call position

  • Hourly pay, paid weekly

  • Flexible schedule based on event needs

  • Four hour minimum shifts - daytime and/or evenings available - 1 to 4 days/week

  • Workdays are typically on Fridays and Saturdays, with opportunities to work Sunday through Thursday as needed.

  • Typical daytime hours are from 8am to 2pm (but can vary depending on the job)

  • Typical evening hours are from 8pm to midnight (but can vary depending on the job)

  • Pay Range:  $28-35 per hour
